Ministry Preparation
Ministerial preparation is among the most important responsibilities of the Church - to identify, encourage, train, and equip pastors for a life and ministry of shepherding God's people. The Church of the Nazarene and the Philadelphia District do not take this responsibility lightly. We seek to walk with all those called to pursue vocational ministry to ensure they are prepared, emotionally, physically, academically, and spiritually for the life of ministry. The process can seem daunting, but we hope to make things as clear as possible for those pursuing the call of God on their lives.
The first place to start is the Philadelphia District Ministerial Leadership Preparation Handbook. It contains all the information you need for the journey of preparation for ministry. The links along the right side of the screen will be helpful as you move through the process.
