To Make Christlike Disciples of the Nations
Nazarene Missions International (NMI) is the prayer, discipleship, giving, and education arm of the world wide missional work of the Church of the Nazarene. This name describes who we are, what we are about, and where we are going. We are an intentionally international church, reaching all around our globe making a vital difference in the lives of many people.
With mission work in 156 world areas, and over 700 missionaries, and 22,000 churches worldwide it takes many people to help keep this work going. Our missionaries represent a wide variety of careers and work. Although many are ministers, many are serving in the medical field, education, computer, broadcasting, construction, and many more. There are Nazarene schools, clinics, hospitals, and seminaries in many different countries. This gives the Church of the Nazarene an avenue into all walks of life, reaching millions with the love of Christ.
The Philadelphia District consists of local congregations actively engaged in mission. We are committed to sharing the love of Christ at home and around the world. Each month you will find us promoting new areas of mission as we connect with the work of God through the Church of the Nazarene around the world.
